Tropus De profundis for chamber ensemble 2013

Tropus De profundis’ for chamber ensemble (2013) beginning impulse originates from Psalm 130 (De profundis clamavi ad te, Domine). The composition’s suggestive text visualizes as an upwards twisting spiral and its aural conception ended up being cyclically repeated vibrations. I separated the whole timespan into twelve sections, each of them has instrument pairs pulsing based on the prime number proportions. As a second dimension I added random events that shape the individual elements. The composition is a second trope of my earlier work Welt gebaut ist (2007), the game of love and war (Andrus Kallastu, 2.10.2016).
